Danielle McAllister, MA, LPC

My Mission

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Professional School Counselor, on a mission to support and collaborate with you on your journey to wellness. The common issues that I work with are adolescent issues, parenting, women's issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and sports performance issues. I see counseling as a process in which you, the client, and I, the LPC, build a positive therapeutic relationship, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals from an improved life and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.

I will help you think through possibilities and consequences of decisions, but my role is not to make decisions for you. My approach to counseling is integrative which means I use a variety of theoretical approaches in an attempt to match you, the issues and the counseling method to achieve your goals.
